Alicia Bell is a speech and language pathologist offering speech and language assessment and therapy of articulation disorders, language disorders, feeding and swallowing disorders, and pragmatic disorders to patients from infants to 21 years old.

Alicia is originally from Frederick, Maryland. She earned her Bachelors of Science at Emerson College in Boston Massachusetts and her Master of Arts in Speech Language Pathology at California State University, Long Beach. Alicia worked in the public school system in California from 2014-2017, before moving back east to be closer to her family.

Upon returning to Maryland, Alicia worked in Anne Arundel County Public Schools from 2017-2021 with preschoolers and elementary aged students, and currently serves the high school population in Howard County. She has taken coursework in Board Certified Behavior Analysis and PROMPT training and has specific skills in behavioral strategies and family counseling, treatment of Attention Deficit Disorder Hyperactivity (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).

Alicia is a passionate advocate for people with disabilities, and believes in every person’s right to communicate and access all opportunities.  Alicia lives in Edgewater with her two young children, and enjoys caring for her many animals, gardening, reading, kickboxing, and painting in her spare time.
