Jennifer Reitmeyer, Managing Director

Jennifer Reitmeyer joined Parker Place in July 2018, before the office construction was even complete. In her position as Managing Director, her focus is on creating an outstanding experience for everyone who visits Parker Place. Jennifer manages all aspects of Parker Place’s practice administration, including business development, marketing, compliance monitoring, staff training, and office operations. She also works closely with Dr. Parker to oversee clinical support for our patient panel, facilitating diagnostic studies, procedures, and insurance authorizations for more complex medical issues. Finally, Jennifer is our practice’s designated “Hunger Champion,” a role established by the Food Research and Action Center and American Association of Pediatrics, and works directly with families struggling with food insecurity to connect them with emergency resources and federal, state and local assistance programs.

Jennifer is passionate about providing the kind of behind-the-scenes management that helps businesses (and the people they serve) to thrive, and she’s done so within a number of industries, including real estate, entertainment, property management, event planning, hospitality and more. She has also worked independently as a business coach, marketing and media consultant, public speaker and author.

Jennifer is a dedicated advocate for neurodiversity, as well as for fostering positive self-esteem in children and teens. A communications graduate of Frostburg State University, she spent her college years actively serving her community through organizations benefiting women and girls, and later was a longtime volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Maryland. She also served as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for children in foster care through Voices for Children of Howard County. Outside of her time at Parker Place, Jennifer is a devoted “DIY-er,” transforming her 1954 bungalow one room at a time, as well as a gardener, reader, runner, and random art-maker. Most importantly, she’s a mom to two awesome boys, and loves supporting their ever-changing pursuits!
