In-Person guidelines

For all patients coming into our office for an in-patient appointment during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have established several guidelines to protect everyone’s health. These guidelines are in addition to our team’s stringent safety protocols and sanitization efforts.

If you have an appointment scheduled at Parker Place, we ask that you read through our guidelines prior to your visit. Please contact us immediately if you find you cannot adhere to any of the guidelines below:

PRIOR TO YOUR Appointment

We request your help in keeping our patients, families, community members and staff healthy and safe. Please contact our office to discuss rescheduling your appointment if any of the following applies to your household:

  • Anyone in your home currently has COVID-19, or has been exposed to someone with a known case of COVID-19 within the past 14 days.

  • Anyone who will be coming into the office for the visit has had the following symptoms within the past 7 days: fever of over 99 degrees, new loss of taste or smell, or difficulty breathing.

Appointment Day

On the day of the appointment, please be sure to:

  • Minimize the number of people who will be visiting the office (we request that you bring just the patient and no more than two parents/guardians). If you absolutely cannot follow this guideline, please contact us in advance to discuss alternatives.

  • Arrive 10 minutes early for the appointment to check in. Please note that this particular requirement helps us to appropriately space out our patients’ arrivals and departures, which helps us to maintain proper distancing.

  • Ensure all persons - adults and children age 3 and older - are wearing a mask when they come into our office, and throughout the visit. (If you forget your mask, you will be required to purchase one at the front desk for $1.00.)

  • Utilize the hand sanitizer that is provided throughout the office.

For the safety of all the families who come to see us, as well as our providers and staff, we ask that you are mindful of all best practices for preventing the spread of COVID-19 in your day-to-day routines, and that you communicate with us in advance of your appointments if you have any reason to believe you, or a member of your household, may have been exposed to the virus.

We are confident that, together, we can maintain the consistency of your child’s medical care while keeping everyone healthy and safe. Please contact us anytime if you have questions about Parker Place!
