Parker Place is pleased to offer feeding evaluations and ongoing feeding therapy sessions with Katie Hird, OTD, OTR/L, right here in our office!

Feeding therapy, which is a type of occupational therapy, can help infants and children with a variety of mealtime issues. More generally, occupational therapy is extremely beneficial for children who experience challenges with various activities in their day-to-day lives. Feeding Therapy

Katie’s gentle, positive approach is extremely beneficial for kids experiencing challenges with picky eating, oral-motor skills, overstuffing, difficulty gaining or losing weight, or difficulty chewing and swallowing. Learn more here.

 

Infant Services

Katie has extensive experience helping babies with feeding challenges (breast, bottle and solids), as well as those struggling with tummy time, motor skills and achieving developmental milestones. Learn more here.

 
 

SMALL GROUP SESSIONS

Katie also leads small group sessions, in which kids with similar ages and challenges can benefit from building their skills alongside their peers. These fun, engaging groups focus on a variety of activities and topics. When we have upcoming groups scheduled, we will link to them below!

INSURANCE & PRICING FOR OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

Our occupational therapist, Katie, is in-network with some insurances. Please click here to view a list of accepted insurances.

For families wishing to pay out-of-pocket, evaluations are priced at $320 while individual therapy sessions are priced at $160.00 for 55 minutes or $80 for 30 minutes. We accept all major credit cards, as well as checks and cash. If your insurance includes out-of-network benefits, we are happy to provide you with a superbill that you can use to request reimbursement. Please note that we cannot guarantee you will be reimbursed; benefits vary by insurance carrier and plan.
